Purpose #329 Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation Immediate Need- Broward County Our client, a well-established, growing law firm in South Florida, has an immediate need for a mortgage foreclosure litigation associate. Candidate must have three or more years of experience in a high volume and fast paced litigation practice. Foreclosure experience, while preferred, is not required for consideration, but the candidate must have the willingness and capacity to be trained in the foreclosure litigation process. The firm believes in a team oriented approach, has a very collegial environment and offers a great compensation structure and benefits. Qualified candidate should have experience reviewing complaints and taking/defending depositions, experience appearing in court, and the ability to review and respond to routine affirmative defenses and payment disputes. Familiarity with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and experience in reading promissory notes, mortgages, and loan documents is helpful. Preference will be given to candidates that have first or second chair court trial experience. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, a team player, multi-tasker, performance/process oriented, a dedicated professional committed to superior client service who is personable, self-confident and motivated.
